The first people we told about Hop Dog, the team at True Brew are kindred spirits. As Munich's first independent brewpub, they offer great beer and crispy Piadas (think mini pizzas with a crispy crust).

Just a block away from True Brew, Frisches Bier is the primary ausschank for Tilman's Bier, who also is one of the venue's owners. One of the largest craft brew selections in town, with a selection of Tilman's and guest beers on draft and in bottle. Keep your eyes on their social media to be informed of their tap takeover days.

The closest traditional ausschank and biergarten, the Paulaner Bräuhaus serves up a number of their own beers, brewed on premises, and served only at their restaurant!

Tegernseer Landstraße 25 - a 2 minute walk from Ostfriedhof Bus/Tram.
Paulaner Nockherberg is a beautiful modern Bayerisch restaurant with a very well maintained biergarten. Three house made beers only available there, plus all of the Paulaner classics are on offer.
Hochstraße 77 - a 3 minute walk from Ostfriedhof Bus/Tram.
Giesinger Bräustuberl One of the original craft breweries in Munich, Giesinger has now broken ground on a larger brewery with aspirations of being the seventh brewery to be featured at Oktoberfest. From their Erhellung to the award winning Munique, they're open and serving classic Bavarian dishes seven days a week.
Martin-Luther-Straße 2 - a 13 minute walk from Ostfriedhof Bus/Tram or a quick five minutes from the Silberhornstraße U2/U7/68 Bus stop.
